Category: Tea Towel

Little Audrey (aka the Skipping Girl) has been lighting up the Melbourne skyline since the '30s. Originally created to sell vinegar, she skipped her way into history as one of Melbourne’s first neon signs in 1936. The OG sign was swapped out in the '70s, fell into disrepair, and was sadly switched off in 2001. But thanks to a public outcry, she made a comeback, and now she’s back doing what she does best, glowing up Victoria Street in Abbotsford.

We brought back our classic Audrey Iconic Skipping Girl Tea Towel to show just how loyal we are to this city. This tea towel will look fab in any kitchen. Instant icon status.

Ella V. ★★★★★

The print quality on this is genuinely lovely, that retro neon glow of the skipping girl comes through so well. Hung it in my kitchen and it's already my favourite bit of Melbourne nostalgia.

Joshua ★★★★★

Bought this for my mum who grew up in Melbourne and she teared up when she saw the Skipping Girl print. The fabric is thicker than I expected for a tea towel, so it actually dries dishes instead of just smearing water around.

Julian ★★★★★

The retro neon vibe is perfect for my kitchen, and the fabric dried a whole batch of dishes without getting soaking wet. I've already ordered another one as a gift for a friend who loves Melbourne.
